if they get a taste for scrambled egg will they not start pecking there own eggs open

No, they aren't quite smart enough to work out the scrambled eggs came from their eggs originally.

okay i might just scramble some store bought eggs and see how they like that.
also i bought mealworms yesterday. would they like that?

sitting in the coup, not trying to pick them up works best. Just take a cup of coffee down, and enjoy being around them, moving slow, talking low, bring food, and place it on the ground close to your chair, and just sit there as they eat.

i was able to pet them whilst they were in the coop last night and thats the best ive been able to do yet. i have only had them for 1 week 2 days
