Most on here do know it's not always feasible to take our poultry to a vet. That is why we're here to help as much as we can. Culling decision should always be made only by the OP and last thing after all else has been tried.

I agree, pictures and even a video would be very helpful (to post video upload to youtube or vimeo, then copy/paste the link here). If it is a fracture, and the fracture is below the femur, the average person should be able to splint it. Sadly, femur and hip fractures aren't usually treatable at home.
