Help! My duck vomited and won't eat!

Luna passed away moments ago. She just got weak and went to sleep. Thank you so much for trying to save my little girl. I'm thankful she was inside comfortable with us in her final moments.

So sorry for your loss. Sadly, they are excellent at hiding illnesses from us, until its sometimes too late for us to react. :hugs

I got some art commissioned of Luna and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Welcome to BYC and sorry your duck is sick. Can you take a video, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, then copy/paste the link here? If you can't do a video, pictures of her would be helpful.

Questions.
  • Do you have here inside where it's warm. If not, can you bring her in.
  • Has she pooped? If so, can you post some pictures of it?
  • When did she lay her last egg?
Also thank you for the welcome. I wish I had joined under different circumstances.

I am afraid that anything I suggest could do more harm than good. The way she's breathing really worries me, and that poop isn't normal either. Does she still have any water or food in her crop?

When she vomited, did she do that on her own or did she do it when you picked her up?
She vomited on her own but she hasn't vomited since then. I'm not sure how to tell if she has anything in her crop.
