Triple check your temperatures. Thanks everyone for all the info so much I appreciate it. I was really upset crying but I’m okay now and accepted it. It’s so sad and I feel terrible when I got my eggs I said I only wanted two ducks. I didn’t want it to happen this way it really sucks but it was a lesson learned on my first hatch of what to do and not be so strict to everything. I now need to really focus on these two being crazy running around having a good time in their brooder - any advice on the food - water it down okay ? I’m going to stay up all night with them to make sure they’re okay. What do I need to watch and make sure they stay alive ? I have heat lamp in checking temp 90 I already need to refill water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated for me to watch for thy seem really healthy and energetic and happy attached picture
Heat lamps scare me, but I don't know them well as I have never had one myself.
They aren't going to freeze to death if you get below 90, I promise.
Just don't over heat them.
It doesn't look like you are only heating one side...or 1/3 of that box.
See if you can move the light so that it only heats one side so they have a place to get away from the heat.
I feed wet feed and it worked out just fine.
I think it is a personal choice.
What does your waterer look like?
