Oh well good, then I suspect the vinegar didn't really do any harm. That might explain why you're having to give her water by a dropper rather than her drinking it thought!
That would be nice if she drank on her own.
Ok so upper respiratory - upper wheezing. Godo ear. What color is the caking? can you possibly open her mouth and tell me if you see any thing cheesy? Any nodules? The roof of her mouth should be pink to pale pink and the little 'teeth' on the cleft should be obvious and sharp...
(though to me the cleft looks a bit open here)
...versus cheesy and nodular
I doubt you'll see the cheesiness but it does do good to rule it out.
If you get antibiotics, please get the right ones. Don't trust their advice. Oxytetracycline - read the label. It's Duramycin. (One of the rare moments I recommend it - note the date). It's best given in conjunction with Aureomycin. But if you start now with Duramycin at full strength for 14 days hopefully... Chick starter won't hurt - IF she's not of laying age.
Here are my three suggested shopping lists (depending on budget):
At least:
- Duramycin (oxytetracycline).
- polyvisol non-iron fortified ( already has vitamin A in it)
- Vitamin E (400-700 IU oil capsule for humans)-smallest bottle
Should get:
- acidophilis capsules or tablets (from the vitamin section of Walgreens) or Probios paste or powder (from TSC) - pick whichever is least expensive.
- VetRx - 2 ounces, rabbit or poultry formula are fine (if they have it - if not, sterile eye wash from Walgreens)
Would help in order of helpfulness:
- Pedialyte (unflavored) or poultry electrolytes
- terramycin or chloramphenicol eye ointment ("ophthalmic" ointment)
