Help! Need source for organic feed!

Natures Best from TSC 18 % starter grower organic non -GMO

Scratch n Peck

Big Sky from Big Sky or Azure Standard

Purina organics

Highland Natural

Dumor Organics

These are all organic but not an all flock feed that is 20%. Can start on starter grower if they have baby chicks, grower if all flock over 8 weeks, layer if over 18 weeks for your flock. I would not use game bird or broiler feeds not meant for laying hens because the protein gets above 20% which is not recommended for laying hens. Purina has a Flock Raiser 20% but it is not organic. They do have organic feed in stages though.

Thanks! I will be raising Phoenix chickens, so I need high protein!

I would checkout the Ferrell website and see who's close to you. https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3471920/Webpage_Images/Fertrell-Outlets-1.pdf A lot of these guys will run a truck route up to four hours from their location. If there are Mennonite or Amish communities near you, you can often get really good feed for a low price. They may or may not be "Certified" Organic, but are just as good as organic.

And I too love @Texas Kiki 's spread sheet.;)

I was just about to mention this.
There are direct links on the sheet to each feed...most links are to the manufacturers website. Most all have a search tool where you can enter your zip code to see if it is sold locally.

I have to ask...do you know how to use the search function here on BYC?
what search function? You mean the magnifying glass? I have used it many times... I guess I just didn't think about using it for this.
