Help! One of my hens has a swollen eye. What do I do?

When I was getting ready to put the terramycin in her eye for the second and last time today she opened her eyelid for about half a sec, she has been doing that a lot more the last few days so her eye is obviously doing better I am hoping by the end of this that she can still see just fine in that eye, I think she will Idk we will see.

She is doing a lot better today she drank some water and has been sunbathing. She even has been looking at the grass I felt her crop and it felt for the most part normal. She is still holding her eye closed but it has been clean and not swollen from what I can tell. She still turns her nose at the chicken feed but I am hoping she will eat some today if she hasn't already.
I went out and got pictures of her today around 11:00am. They all sunbathed and had dust baths.

Try offering some wet chicken feed, scrambled egg, tuna, or canned cat food just to tempt her to eat.
Thank you!
I have been giving the chickens and ducks free choice wet and dry all flock pellets and yesterday put out oyster shells (for the first time ever) as I am no longer getting layer feed (I have ducks, two drakes and a rooster). I will try giving her some scrambled egg and maybe canned cat food. What kind of cat food is preferred? I have the Sheba cuts in gravy the flavors are chicken, salmon, turkey. I also have friskies canned cat food which are patés or shreds basically the same flavors as the Sheba stuff. I have never given a chicken cat food before so I don't know what would be good to use. For scrambling the eggs what kind of pan do you use? And if you use any cooking oil or things like that what do you use for that? I want to make sure I do everything correctly.

I got pictures of Turkey's eye last night, she has been opening it a lot yesterday and today. It looks like there is a piece of puss Idk how to describe it very well I cant tell if it is her secondary eyelid or her eye or something else. It has been a week since I put the first bit of terramycin in her eye yesterday was the first day that I completely stopped putting it in her eye, what should I do now for her eye now if anything at all?
She still hasn't been eating anything, I tried getting her to eat last night and I couldn't get anything in her beak.
She drank some water today, and she thought about eating but didn't. I can't force her to eat either, she moves her beak away from me to much. I think she will probably start eating a day or so from now if not on her own I will keep trying to feed her.
I hope I made sense... I will post the pictures in a minute.

I have had good luck with Friskies canned cat food any flavor, since they are all mostly the same things combined. I usually offer the food and sprinkle a few pieces to entice them. If one is sitting a lot, I just put a small can or cup near to them and let them take it or not.

Can you post a picture of the eye? Can you take a QTip and try to get the pus out? Flush it with saline or water. Then apply the ointment.

She was moving a lot last night so I couldn't get very good pictures of her eye when it was open. Hopefully these are good enough. I can't hold her and take pictures of her eye cause she closes her eye when I do.

She really wanted out of the breeze way and back in the coop.

I am not sure if it is puss, it looks like it though. I don't really know how to flush her eye. And once I flush her eye do I need to do the terramycin again? And I think this is important to say but I never flushed her eye before putting the terramycin on her eye (in other words I haven't flushed her eye at all). I didn't/don't know how to do it exactly.

How often are you cleaning the eye and apply Terramycin into the eye? You may need to get an antibiotic to treat orally if the Terramycin twice a day is not clearing it up. Enrofloxacin 10% liquid given orally 0.05 ml per pound (0.25 or 1/4 ml for a 5 pound chicken) twice aa day can be used to treat certain bacterial diseases. You can get 1 ml needle-less syringes free at most pharmacies for dosing babies. Don’t eat the eggs for at least 2 weeks if using.

Thank you!
The terramycin seems to be working just fine, I think her eye just needs to be flushed. Idk
And will that size syringe be okay for the saline/water flush?

I was putting the terramycin in her eye 2 to 3 times a day. And I made sure to take a Q-tip to the outside of her eye lid before applying the terramycin in her eye. I am pretty sure Turkey isn't laying yet I am sure she will start back up again soon though. We don't eat the chickens and ducks eggs we don't even collect them (I pick them up in the morning and toss them to the chickens and ducks).
