Help Please (Poop Pics just in case of any Sensitivity)

You're a good chick mommy and your heart is in the right place! :hugs You're getting some good advice here, you're wise and caring enough to follow it, and I'm gonna guess your babies will be just fine. I wish everyone would listen as well as you are! :pop

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate that more than I could ever express. The folks here at BYC (including you & every single amazing person that has helped me out this evening) are truly the very best. I feel so blessed to be a member here.

I apologize for the gross factor to anyone bothered. I went through the droppings I was able to collect (they're coated in sand & PDZ) and found some of the puppy pad, so they've also ingested puppy pad. There is also some of the sticky orangish matter. This picture is very close up, so it is tiny.

I'll stick with the plan suggested before. They'll get chick feed & plain water from now on & I'll keep a close eye on them. If someone feels like I should treat them or do something different, please let me know. Again, thank you all so very much. There are no words to express my gratitude

Give them a day or two, without all the extras, and then see what some poop looks like.

You're very welcome. And I feel the same way!

Corid is fairly harmless to use, just in case of coccidiosis. Pictures of poops are always welcome. Keeping the waterer up to shoulder height with boards or later bricks as they grow helps to keep droppings and bedding out. I would suggest a gallon waterer, just because it is heavier, and would not get knocked over as easily with active chicks. I use the ones below, and they are much cheaper at Rural King:

I actually have this gallon waterer, but with a purple base (or whatever it's called) instead of red. With my other chicks & ducklings, I began usinh this once the Quart waterer starts to get low before 24 hours. I feel like the top of the jug is a little bit weak for it's size and I worry it's going to collapse every time (I have psoriatic arthritis so gripping something with no texture often causes problems for me) but it's probably more like user error/malfunction for me, hahaha! Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate you
