HELP!!! TURKEY HEN PROLAPSED??

Pics
Is the prolapse still mostly inside? If it has come back out, just keep trying to push it back inside and hold it there for a few minutes. Once it stays in, you can relax some. Hens who suffer a prolapse may need extra calcium. They may suffer a repeat prolapse in the future. Make sure that she can poop.

What can I do to help with calcium and get her to poo? I still am not sure if it’s end or something else and if it’s something else I’m not sure what it’ll be. My mom said she heard to pull her seed from her today, and just feed veggies like lettuce, do you agree with that? Or try to get her to relax and soak in warm epsom salt

I will look my sister is coming out to hold her still

Human calcium with vitamin D3 such as Caltrate is good to give. You may also use Tums, finely ground egg shell, or even a whole egg, shell and all, put into a blender or food processor and fed back to her. Egg shell is pure calcium and egg yolk has vitamin D. Farm stores sell calcium for large animals, and @casportpony has dosages.

So she needs extra calcium?

Since low calcium can be a cause and she could be getting ready to start laying again, I would try the calcium if you have some. The baths are necessary when the vent is messy and can help with inflammation. Is her vent back to normal with the prolapse in? Are you feeding her a balanced feed? Is that the seed you are talking about? I would feed her her usual feed.
