I raised speedy with a small heating pad under a padding of blankets because that's all I could afford at the time. If she got to warm she moved away fro..the heat source, to cold on to it. If I could feel it as hit through the blankets, I'd turn it down to low. If she got to cold, she'd cuddle up under my shirt. But after about 3 weeks and she started having feathers, she was fine without the heat until the darn cold snap last year.
