Thanks for the replies everyone. How exactly do I tell the saddle feathers from the back feathers? Also shouldn't it be getting spurs by now or start crowing all day instead of just morning?

Both really depend on your bird, I think. I don't really care for chicken terminology, I just like them so I'll leave a more experienced chap to explain saddle feathers.

Pic below kinda shows it.
On a male they are skinnier, longer, shinier, and pointier.
Spurs won't grow out much until 6-12 months.
Crowing can depend on individual bird and/or other males being present.
