Living in PR I would try to bring the humidity down even more. Once those eggs start hatching you know the humidity is going to raise even more. I really hate living in this humid weather we have in the south. Really plays havoc with us. Congrats on the pip!!!

Okay, first here is the situation: I added two of my daughters eggs from her EE about 7-9 days after my others (have to look at notes), so mine go into lockdown sun/mon, but of course hers will need to still be on the turner for a few more days.

Question: has anyone ever left a couple rows on the turner to turn while taking the others racks out and placing the lockdown eggs on the grate? Is this just too dangerous for the chicks hatching out?
I'm thinking my son-in-law is going to buy another incubator today but just in case not, I'm not sure how to handle the two later eggs. At this point, I think maybe, I see veining. Hard to tell because they are blue.

Yes, it IS babies! Yeah.

We had a lot of trouble getting the temps to regulate and had a 104 spike, for I don't know how long. But there are three that have movement. I was so depondant, and now I'm joyous!

Now, if we can only keep them going......

Stacy that isnt the BIGGEST problem..the probems is you have to raise the humidity to 65 or 70 and that is too much for the eggs that arent readythe chicks might downed
PLus even so if you left the turner in and the babies hatched from the center eggs on the screen might get trapped and killed in the turner apperatusGotta have another bator u nles y9uare on 17 wit hthe seocnd eggs when the others are day 18 then youcan put the second group in lockdown early but NOt 3 days early.!!!
