Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Shoot me a message. I am still working on the waiting list right not but they should keep going for awhile the way they act. And thanks, I really like the Poms attitudes compared to my giant Africans.

Squishy is still shadowing and rocking some... the aircell look to be 3/4 the length of the side of the egg.. I do hope he/she internally pips soon... but as long as I see movement I try to to worry

Its so hard to wait for babies to hatch. (sigh) doing that now.

Hi there Marty. No a stethescope's not needed. When the shadows are well into the air cell near hatching you can confirm the gosling is breathing by holding the air cell end of the egg to your ear. If the gosling's breathing you'll hear a regular clicking sound which is faint at first but gets stronger. This confirms internal pipping

It does push against the membrane for quite a while. How far down does the air cell extend and can you take any pics? Also keep trying to hold the air cell end to your ear in a quiet area and listen carefully for a faint clicking noise
