Oh I'm sorry!! Fingers crossed you find some babies hanging on in the nest!!

Awwww....I'm sorry your babies didn't make it chikn.

Goosed, I'm glad you locked your eggs down this morning. Do NOT open that bator, as I am finding that even a short blast of dry heat from room into bator will shrink wrap babies.

I'm surprised I don't have internal pipping yet. The shadowing looks pretty much the same as the pics I posted last night. Do you think everything is ok? I moved it to the hatcher at 6:30 this morning. Humidity is at 75%. Heat 99

Goosed, another one of my mandatory tools in my bator room is a steth. I place steth on viewing window of my LG still air and listen for clicking sounds to confirm internal pipping. Pete says to place egg against ear to listen, but I find the steth works a lot better for me. Plus, I am starting to believe that dry air can seep through egg shell into air cell and cause shrink wrap even before external pip, so it is best to not open bator at all!

Two live babies for sure!! But they are still very bloody so I left it alone and covered them with a wet paper towel. Is that right? I kept a few more that looked promising, I still have yet to poke a hole in them yet. I'm iffy about doing that because some of the others blew up! Eekk, its stinky!

I need to see what you are talking about... bloody? Did you take them completely out of shell?

Also, for the others you are hopeful for, you need to pip a hole to see if they are ok.

Yes, a steth would be very helpful right now! I don't see the beak like the second pic you posted for me yesterday. I'm starting to get worried because it seems like the shadowing should have increased more and internal pipping would have happened. I don't know what to do!

Goosed... sit tight for now. It is only day 28 for your guys. I think your eggs are fine at the moment. Do not panic.
