Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Evening all.

Beyond busy day here so trying to catch up.

Chikn hatch yet?

Marty what's going on?

Did eggs ship?

Moved eggs around tonight here, many working at zipping currently. Opened one I thought had failed to hatch and wanted to do an egtopsies on it. Darn thing was still alive! Very full of fluid though, which is odd since the dip was spot on and good shadowing. So I slowly drained the extra fluid away, went in with scalpal and fine tweazers to open and pull the head free. Then everything got closed back up and tagaderm placed over the shell opening leaving the head free. It is now wrapped in gauze and vet wrap propped up in its own bator on high humidity.

Looks to me like the the Toulouse (day 28 today) has a bigger more angled airsac, but no internal pip yet. IA big from mid afternoon posted top pg 125) It (and the sebs) are just hanging out now, not turning anymore.

I guess I need to wait for internal pip before I up their humidity? They are all (the geese) gonna have to stay togather in one bator, so when one pips, everyone is gonna be on lockdown.

But right now, nothing yet.

Hey Celtic! Hope you had a good day. Did you get your lambs? What kind of baby did you save?

Marty's toulouse egg is at end of day 28 and no shadows in back or sizable air cell drop beyond what you saw. Her sebbie eggs are at end of day 27 and same thing.

Eggs got shipped this morning. Tracking says should arrive on Monday!

Sad to say little fellow is no more. I tried my hardest but it wasn't enough. I was so excited about this hatch and it seemed like everything that could go wrong did. But I thank everyone for their help! And happy hatching to all of you!

Oh no! I'm very sorry! I thought he was going to make it. I don't know what happened when he was going so well for over 24 hours. :(
