What a crap day here! Went to the fresh veggie bin, and

limited choices. I'm making crab cakes, fried cabbage, grated potato cakes and a tomato/mozzarella salad with vinaigrette.

-homemade bacon and pepper jack burgers, oven fried 'taters, and BBQ baked beans here. -not my favorite, but it is a huge hit with the family.

We had burgers with guacamole, tots with garlic sauce. No beans--seeing your post I'm craving them now! Might be dinner tomorrow.....

Tots with garlic sauce sounds pretty good. -never tried that one before. -will have to add that to the burger menu next time.
-ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cranberry relish is on tap for tonight.

Snack time last night and the choices were limited so I 'fried' some pumpkin scones. They were so very good.

Hmm. -bought some ready-made pumpkin scone mix from World Market a while back. -need to make 'em. -never fried scones before, but that sounds interesting.

This was scones from a mix - the frying was an act of desperation as they were a little bit soggy. (The Princess had 'plastic bagged' them.)
