Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Tacos the other night and basket sheet pan nachoes yesterday with leftovers. Probably something with pulled pork today since DW cooked a whole shoulder in the crock pot the other night and tacos and nachos only consumed about half of it so far.
We need to smoke a shoulder this weekend too

We didn't smoke ours. The cold, windy weather makes smoking difficult. Maybe if I had a well sealed electrically controlled smoker I would do it in this weather, but with the fire box smoker or the pellet smoker it's a painful effort. I smoke a lot when it's nice out though.

This one has been in the freezer waiting for pretty day 😂

Psychologically I just can't eat raw fish/meat. Long ago I had a parasitology course.
My sister worked in Alaska at a fish processing plant during the summer after she graduated high school. She said later in the season the worms were just terrible! All those smart alecky tv chefs cooking salmon rare.,. Um.. no….
I actually saw a worm on a piece of fresh white fish at Costco once. So I only buy frozen at sea stuff. Freezing is supposed to kill the parasite eggs as long as it’s kept cold enough long enough.

My DW ate a sea worm from under cooked halibut. She was miserable for about 5 days!

After the second or third time eating one, many have to be hospitalized.
