I'm hoping someone may have a better idea now that most feathers are in. My C.L. seems kinda mean too LoL. Loves pecking my toes & fingers & well Everything too. Idk if that's just a bird thing or an attitude issue?
Anyway I'd love to know more certain the breed & sex please!!!

Color isn't accurate in photos transmitted over the internet, but the chick's comb appears more on the yellow side. If it looks more yellow to you as you are seeing it in real time, it's a cockerel. I'm not familiar with the breed. A pullet would have a much more colorless comb, and probably not that pronounced.

I'll certainly try to get some better pics asap! The comb is pretty much a yellowis-orange color, certainly not a skin color. What is a "production" RI Red?
I got CL at the beginning of the month & the store said they were all between 4-6 wks old. So that's the age imI going from, but I really don't know the age. Thx!

There isn’t a production rir red,it’s just a production red.A brown bird with a few black feathers of the tail bred for egg production
