I read backyard poultry magazine online and with the search I clicked on this link and got here. I thought WOW,,,,,there are other people like me,,,,,I guess I am not crazy,,,,,,I must be in heaven,,,,,,,,,and,,,,,then,,,,,,,,,I started making bators,,,,,and,,,,,buying eggs,,,,,,,and,,,,,ugh!! LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO NOW!!!!!

Hi! I just joined today! I've been "visiting" off and on for a while. I found this site several months ago when we found out we would finally get to buy the house and land that we've been wanting for years. I had told DH that if we ever got any land, I was getting chickens. Well, my dream was finally coming true and I wanted to make sure that I knew everything I needed to know to start raising them! My first chicks should arrive by Friday of this week (by 05/02/08), and I will be the proud mama of 25 baby buff orpingtons! I'm really looking forward to all the info that is available here!
