How do you call your chickens

I can never remember their number so I have to go outside to talk to them.

Currently it doesn't matter cause they won't come to me until I've somehow convinced them that I have meal worms.

I hope that changes as they get older.

I whistle the song of the male House Finch to them.

When they sit on my lap, I tell them what good chickens they are, how pretty they are, "such a sweeeeeet cheeeeeken! You are such a sweeeeet baby cheeeeeken! I love my baby cheeeeeken!" Ick. Don't tell anyone.

I also use "heeeeeere chick-chick-chiKENS!" and shake a cottage cheese container with scratch. That will get them back into the coop even if there are grubs to be had in the flower beds.

When my husband goes out to let the hens out of the coop, he greets them with "Goooood Morning, Ladies!"

i can mock the calls of the chickens anywhere from the rooster alerting the flock to him calling the girls for a snack. also i can mock the hens very well. i got a nice variety of calls i can so. but when im callin the chickens i do the rooster saying he has food for his girls.

I use"Here Chick-Chick-Chickee etc_ in a really high pitch voice. They can problably here me a mile away. lol Or I say here mammas . Really all they have to do is hear my voice and they come running.
