I've tasted some brands of cottage cheese that I don't think anything could make taste good! Dry, hard and just a bad, unpleasant flavor. I love Dean's cottage cheese, though. It's really wonderful. Tender curds, creamy, sweetly mild and just a bit salty all at the same time. Mmm...

If you're going to be eating a lot of cottage cheese, I'd try sampling different brands available in your area. You might find some are much better tasting, straight out of the container.

I make my own "faux" quick cheese (so very easy & quick) and season it with herbs to my heart's content. YUM!

I like it with salt and pepper. I also like slice cucumbers and put cottage cheese on them. Have you put it on lettuce? Awesome

I love it plain and with fruit...grew up with having simple cottage cheese & pineapple or other fruit. Salted cheese & sweet or tart fruit is great.

I like cottage cheese with lasagna and in it in replace of the ricotta cheese.

If I am eating it plain, I put black pepper and can never have enough. I also put a touch of lawyrs seasoning.
