How heavy is your egg?

My girl takes a bit longer in the box but usually delivers a nice big egg. She's a young pullet, about 10 months old.

Chickens are not recommend for sane individuals.Do not attempt to operate heavy machinery while using chickens. Chickens may cause high blood pressure in some individuals. Chickens may cause itching, blurred vision, facial tics. If you experience any of these side effects immediately get more chickens.
.:)
I have those symptoms and more chickens and still have those symptoms. Time to hatch out more chicks I guess. Got my first two eggs today from last spring hatches from a couple of the Brown Leghorn pullets.

My girls must have sensed there was an egg thread that they wanted to be part of....here's their gifts to the discussion

Are you sure that egg is from a Leghorn. My Leghorn eggs are white and unless it's the picture it looks like a light brown/cream colored egg.

She looks like a White Leghorn Cross. Probably the Barred Rock in her Since a California Gray is a Cross of a Barred Rock and a White Leghorn and a California White is a cross of a California Gray with a White Leghorn. Now it makes sense why she would lay a pink cream colored egg. I was just curious. Good luck and have fun...
