How long do call duck eggs need to be incubated before taking them into lock down?

I have a question. I just put 14 more call duck eggs under and noticed that some had air bubbles in them. Some from the previous eggs also had them and none of those turned out to be fertile. Is it possible for an egg with air bubbles to be fertile and successfully hatch?

Not sure exactly what you mean by air bubbles. An egg should have one "bubble" (air cell) on the fatter end of the egg, typically. If there are more bubbles, then I would only suspect those would come from shaking the egg and separating the main air cell. Are you sure they were bubbles? How did you see them? By candling?

No, I could see them just by gently turning the egg in my hands. I'm not talking about the air cell. Would pics be helpful?
