How long do call duck eggs need to be incubated before taking them into lock down?

It’s about time I did an update on the call duck eggs:

Out of all those eggs I got one tiny snowy call duck I named, Willow. Willow wasn’t even able to pip on her own bacause of a triple layer membrane and a teeny tiny bill. For the first 36 hours she just laid on her side and I didn’t think she’d make it, but miraculously she survived. I knew I’d have to get her some friends because carrying her around the house all was a lot of work, lol, and I wanted to interact with other ducklings. So I went to a lady who breeds Anconas, geese, and other ducks and purchased 2 one week old Ancona ducklings: 1 Black/white drakelet and 1 blue/white pullet. When the lady went in to her house and came out with a tiny duckling that was still wet and said she had bought magpie call duck eggs and this was the first one that hatched, but told me I could have it so Willow wouldn’t be the only small duckling. I couldn’t believe it because I think she meant to keep those calls for herself.

Long story short, all ducklings are doing great together and Willow is now 5 days old and Katniss the other call duckling is 4 days old. Both I’m pretty sure are pullets.
The Ancona drakelet’s name is Rye and the pullets name is Primrose.
Here are some pics.

Very pretty babies! So glad you found another Call for Willow :love

I don't see a snowy Call in those pictures though; is Willow the very dark little Call?

I'm glad you brought color up. Willow is the call in the first picture, with the mixture of yellow and black feathers, I couldn't find many pictures of snowy call ducklings so I went by what my welsh harlequin and snowy mallard hens looked like when they were little. If Willow is not snowy, any ideas on what color she is?

@Ravynscroft would be the best one to ask on color :) I'm not for sure what color she is, but snowy in Call ducklings is a yellow color with a little bit of brown stippling on the head, so not snowy. Maybe dusky?

Thank you both for your replies. I wish I could find pictures of dusky call ducklings, but even adult pictures seem hard to find. :barnie

Hopefully @Ravynscroft will come to the rescue soon.
