How long you were engaged till you got married???

We had a blind date at age 16, didn't really talk too much til we were 17, we started unofficially dating/hanging out when we were 17-18 and he proposed on Christmas Eve of that year. We got married the following Sept. 1989. So we were engaged for just under 9 months.

We live in a small town, my family had always known his family.I first met him at the beach I was 10 he was 11. He was picking on my cousin turned out it was his cousin too . His father's brother is married to my father's sister.Very complicated, I told you it was a small town. Anyway back to the story he dunked my cousin I started beating the crap out of him. Fast forward senior year of high school we both were in vocational high and ended up in all our academic classes together. A friend asked him to pick me up, we were all going roller skating. It was the 80's.
When he brought me home I let him kiss me goodnight. He was at my house every day after that. That first date was April 17 and we were married 11 months later.
That was 28 yrs ago. And my heart still skips a beat when he walks in the room.

we dated for 6 weeks he asked me on memorial day 08 got married June the 5th 08 we have been married for 21 years now have a 20 yr old daughter an an 18 almost 19 year old. got married when I was 20 and he was 21 been madly in love with him since I met him and beleive I love him a whole lot more now

We were engaged about 8 months. Weve been married this July for 12 years.

We met june of 00 got engaged in Nov 00 then got married in april of 01. Our 8th anniversary was yesterday. Oh and from january until the 20th of april we were seperated by an ocean. He was already stationed in FT Knox while i waited on my K1 visa to finish up.

Knew each other for a couple years, but were dating other people. Started dating him on a Tuesday, he asked me to marry him on Saturday. Moved in together about 10 weeks after that, and got married two years later. Been married since 1998.

Let's see, we were together for about a year, then we were engaged for 8 months and have been together for 12 years now, March 8, 1997. Doesn't seem that long, even on "those days".....

Met at Thanksgiving, engaged on New Years, married Feb. 9... that was 29 years ago... WHAT was I thinking????!!!!!!

The first time we were together 2 yrs but never really engaged. We just desided to get married one day and did it. We were married 2 more yrs when I was Widowed.

This time we were together 8 months when we got engaged then were married 4 months later. we have been married going on 4 yrs now
