Yup, Blondie left me an egg after she snacked on seeds. 5 yesterday. Cold and clammy today.

actually 4 one ate in nest need to find the culprit have a bit of mind who it may be throwing her and sibling in the cockerel coop a few days to narrow it down. one of my lavender ameracauna layed her first pretty blue egg

3 eggs out of 14 hens. Five of them are pullets that should start laying soon. Have a heat lamp on at night and doesn't seem to be much of a help!

they probably do not need a heat lamp if you want it to encourage them to lay a plain white light bulb from like 6 am to 8pm then no light is best that way they also get a good nights sleep as long as they have feathers they do not need heat

1 at 5am, 4 at 9am. Yea.
The sun has popped out today, and no wind, but still cold. Back to rain tomorrow, at least its not snow.
Chickens have acclimated to the below average temps. GC

another 4 with one eaten in the coop again! one of the girls in the main coop either laid her last before molt or just back from it only membrane no shell
I will use it with breakfast
