1 egg from 13 hens today. 3 are molting 3 maybe too young still. So 7 hens 1 egg really slacking.

The crows are out in force now that summer is over and food is scarce

0 eggs for the geese I think the geese really should start producing eggs in the later part of November .....

Temp is at a steady low 80's

I can hear a couple of more eggs chirping in the incubator so I should have more chicks soon

8 eggs today, one of them from our bantam barred cochin she's doing amazing for only have been laying ten days

Only 1 egg from 5 hens - our 1 year old NH red and Barred Rock are laying, the 3 Ameracaunas haven't laid a single egg yet (they are 7 months old). Surprisingly our Silkie hens are cranking out the eggs! We've been getting 2 eggs out of the 3 Silkie hens daily, occasionally all 3 lay in one day. Thankfully, I have 12 pullets that should be laying this spring. Until then we are eating a lot of oatmeal for breakfasts since we are a family of 8.
