I dunno, but I wouldn't think too good. I can't say about things like shear and pressure ridges, but conditions to the north and east of Jose look cooler and drier - not the sort of fuel to keep a hurricane happy and healthy.
I just said to my brother than neither of these two hurricanes has followed what everyone thought they were going to do. smh - no one knows lol

Irma is back to Cat 5 :(

Jose is a Cat4 at the moment.

Looking at the tracking, what's the chances it could make a big circle and come back again? Just read the Leeward Islands may get it - like they need another Hurricane like Irma.
NO BIG CIRCLES, PLEASE JOSE. That is what Betsy did in 1965, 52 years later I really don't want to be rescued by boat again, thank you.

Irma just hit Cuba as a Cat 5 - changed from Cat 4 just prior to landfall - 160 mph winds

Noaa says Jose is almost a Cat 5 now.

"AIR FORCE HURRICANE HUNTERS FIND JOSE EVEN STRONGER... ...ALMOST A CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE."

We have min 150 chickens who are about to gets smacked. 17 goats, 10 pigs & several turkeys whom will all be exposed.

I don't know what part of Florida you are in, but it sounds as though you are not evacuating. Please keep yourself and family safe as possible. Unfortunately, the safety of your animals is secondary.
