Yes, best PR ever - nothing like international publicity. If I ever go to Houston and need a mattress I might well remember his shop. Still, he didn't have to let strangers into his facility, so good on him for letting them make use of his goods.

He has been giving back to the community his whole life.
It was not a surprise that he did this.
He is a good person.

Every year at Christmas time he (I don't know how he chooses) fully furnishes (free) homes for lucky in need families. So nice.

I have a rather lengthy commute to work in the morning on I95 North....saw A LOT of Texas plates here in Delaware this morning. I maybe see one in a blue moon so was surprised at this. I expect I'll see the FL ones later today or tomorrow/weekend.

ETA: Apparently hurricane force winds only extend out about 50 miles from the eye. But as of right now, Irma is not expected to weaken much, if at all before making landfall on the U.S. mainland. Stay safe y'all!

My local news just forecast the eye to stay off to the right of Florida.
Hopefully they miss the strong winds all together.
So far it doesn't look like the west coast of Florida will see much of the "bad" weather.
