Beautiful set up!

I was worried about the same thing. My coops are getting older and I couldn't take the chance with the trees. All the birds are in the basement for the next 24 hours. They are not very happy, but they will survive

Good Luck! Stay safe!

Thank you! I would have liked to bring them all in, but I don't have the set up for that. Hopefully, they will be safe.

Spent all day yesterday, finding all that could become flying hazzards in the yard. Took a bunch of stuff & household trash to the dump. Didn't need trash bags busting open slinging my trash all over the county. Locked up goats in the horse trailer (old steel design) the 2 VERY PG girls were put in the runin & the door nailed shut! All sheep, squished in one horse stall, then EVERY bird was gathered, stuffed, doubled up and moved into every corner of the barn & basement. Outside Dogs, locked up in basement kennels. Extra feed bought, all water tubs filled as well as the bathtub. Several bales of hay skattered in the runin shed for the horse & ponies, to make sure they stay in. We finished the last of these chores at 1:30 today, in the rain. But everyone is OK and riding out the storm in good shape. I did discover last night late, that one of the Serama hens hatched out 2 little chicks! I think we'll call them Earthquake & Hurricane! lol

There's alot of small branches down, and LEAVES EVERYWHERE, but that seems to be it so far...eastern Brookhaven county. The teenagers in the bathtub are getting restless, I just turned out the light (again) and they went back to sleep for now. Still have power, and medium size flooding, but so far, all is well. Hope the same for everyone else!

Everything good here. Lots of rain, flooded side yard, and branches down. My pool is now FILLED, along with branches and leaves too. Let my chickens out this morning, they were so happy to be out of coop after 24 hours. We were in a lower lying area (and closer to water) and didn't do to bad with flooding, while my mom was suppose to be in the better area, higher ground (farther from water), and she got a foot of water in her basement. We got no loss of power, but it keeps flickering. I guess we will be eating canned food for a while

Haven't let the ducks out of our house yet, I think they would swim away, or at least a few houses down. But everyone made it though here
