I can hear noises in my Indian Runner Ducks stomachs.

It does state it helps with growing and as i have a pond which they are in all the time I am maybe paranoid.

I have been adding it to their food every once and awhile.

More so the sound is worrying me.....
Maybe that is what makes their stomachs rumble? Like probiotics will do? But, I agree all animals (even us humans) stomachs make all sorts of noises if you are close enough to listen.

They sure are pretty girls. I have a double bowl that I screw up to a wall inside the wood shed one side has oyster shell the other grit mine usually don’t use the grit till snow or ice have covered everything if yours has access to your property I doubt they need grit they can find their own. They look very healthy and a beautiful place you have for them.

Corn is only a treat to be used accordingly mine get non gmo corn mixed into their 6 way scratch on cold days as an afternoon treat. I used the Verm x years ago as a wormer for my birds but my chickens still got roundworms. Usually waterfowl are pretty resistant to internal and external parasites if kept in good habitat. And yours look to be.Also birds grind their feed etc in their gizzard so maybe that’s what your hearing

Not so pretty haha thanks crystabub.

Appreciate your comments miss Lydia.

how are ducks at winter time?
Sorry I seem so uneducated but now I’m in here I’m just firing away

I've heard the same sound in my runners. We brought them into the garage last winter when it was really cold and that was the first time I'd ever heard the rumbling/ grinding sound...scared the heck out of me, it was quite loud. I can't hear it when they are outside with all the other outside sounds (birds, cars etc.), guess it was just really quiet in the garage so I could hear it better.
I eventually assumed it was just their gizzards working...all happy and healthy still today.
You have such pretty ducks & an awesome pond!
