Was this a wild mouse or a pet?
If it was a wild one was it cornered/provoked or did it just jump at you?

But yes, bleeding is good, helps clean it out. If it gets swollen, soak it in warm epsom salts or if you don't have any dump a handful of table salt in about a quart of very warm water and soak it till the water gets cold. Then apply som antibiotic ointment and bandage loosely. If it looks like it's getting infected, GO TO THE DOCTOR!
Puncture wounds, especially animals bites can get seriously infected.
On a brighter note, I have been bitten many times by rodents. DON'T THOSE LITTLE BUGGERS HAVE BIG TEETH FOR THEIR SIZE AND BOY, DOES IT HURT!!!
