OMG!!! First ever laid egg for both me AND the chicken!

It has some blood on it. I assume that's kind of normal for a chicken's first egg? It's just a drop.

Not goofball at all. I'm looking for my phone so I can do the same thing! I moved some furniture around earlier and I have no idea where it is. But I have an egg!

Oh, congratulations! The first one is sooooooooo exciting! I still feel an absolute thrill every time I open the nesting box -- especially when I get blue ones from my Easter Eggers. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning when I get blue eggs!
