I think my chicken is dead

Parents have the ability to foster or squash ambitions. Saying the one lone chicken will be fine or to just rehome it is failing.

Rehoming may be the wiser choice, but with only two chickens it seems the opportunity was never really given.
These aren't her first chickens only her most recent.

This whole thread makes me sad. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry that your chicken is alone.

But I'm glad you are on BYC. There are folks here who have years - decades - of experience with chickens: farmers, breeders, pet owners, people who really know chicken behavior and needs. They are now giving you expert advice. I hope you and your family listen.

They don’t remind me bc well I wanted them and it’s not like I’m not old Enough to be responsible for them but Ima be honest I’ve been lacking as a good owner to them so I mean at least I paid for it
Keeping her alone until she dies serves no purpose other than to remind you of your own lacking. If you've learned from your mistakes your parents need to support you but if you haven't you need to re-home her and get a new hobby. I wish you and your hen the best!
