Icelandic Chickens

Jake I dropped a cockerel off with a friend yesterday in Oly, and she had a pet carrier in the back of her van...with little white kitty paws struggling to get out...and a green eye visable peeking out...a black & white "Tuxedo" kitten.
She (my friend) explained she got him for her parents for X-mas, for their petting & mousing pleasure..but then realized her Dad was on so much Coumadin that he cannot be even slightly scratched, so the kitten was going back to the shelter.

I wanted him!
DH said NO MORE CRITTERS!!!!!!!!!
Darn it...I really wanted the little guy!

On top of it all, I can still see his sweet face..and think of him all alone in the shelter........

Still raining & blowing here...and coming in like a firehose all week long...
So, no snow over there?

How on Earth does that work?
How strange...so you all hear the results before the polls are closed in AK?
I do not understand how the elctoret can vote until the voters finish...?

I also wanted to add on the Veterycin subject, that I am aware that the product is useful & works well.
Given the ingredients, however, is my beef:
Why on earth is that tiny bottle (of what we know is water & bleach or a dilution & part of bleach) so darned expensive?
A tiny spray bottle of it here about 8 oz or less?
Runs about $16.00 on a shelf, not shipped.
That is what irritates me about it, like is the bottle gold plated ?

Just got off of the phone with Boston.

Two days ago he lost the mottled Icelandic pullet...

Today Geoffrey died. Makes me sad. They were in separate pens so we have no clue why they died.
