Idaho?

Thanks! Yes, he's a cutie....AND an attention hog. He will need "personal space" training rather early. If it was possible he would want me to pick him up and carry him around.

I have a yearling goat that thinks she is a lap goat. She wasn't even bottle raised and her mama was kind of wild so not sure where that came from. Good thing she's a dwarf goat! But she just got back from the breeder and was greasy with buck smell and brought home lice, so I wasn't too thrilled about her wanting to sit on me before being bathed. LOL

Holy Moly my life exploded when school got out!! Between baseball and planting the garden and work and laundry, I haven't been on BYC for almost 2 weeks!!! How did that happen???

I'm in love with my jubilee orpingtons! I've wanted these forever.

Ohhhhhh my.... those are SOOOO pretty!! And an orpington to boot!!

I'll start an official list for the jubilees late Fall. I don't know what the going price is going to be for the new season given that they aren't as rare as they were last year and this year. If they are sstill pricey, I don't want folks to feel like they have to follow through with their order. I bought them for myself without thinking about what it will cost folks to buy chicks/pullets next year. I'm not sure if I should just offer started pullets or also sell straight run chicks. What do you think? If they are expensive, I don't think people will want to be stuck with a bunch of cockerals. ???

Myself I would buy straight run chicks... Depending on price I would buy a started pullet, too...

Thanks! Oh, and I thought of another project for you........because you have way too much time on your hands. Chocolate mottled/jubilee orps!

Oh yes, Christine... GO FOR IT!!!

Meet "Sam", our first equine baby of the year.....born today and already running!

ACK!! Another overdose of cuteness!!! I LOVE baby horses!! Their noses are sooo soft and their eyes so brown with those long eyelashes and their cute little whinnies.... ahhhhhh......makes me seriously miss my horses....

I lost one of my Coturnix Quail babies this morning. It was only about a week old and got spraddle leg. Yesterday morning i used a band aid to make a hobble to try and correct the spraddle leg. last night it was doing fine. I put a new band aid on him and went to bed. This morning I found him in the water dish. So sad. I'm such a baby when it comes to this type of stuff.

Oh, so sorry!!

Now I need to post some pics of my Wheaten Marans chicks and the Crested Cream Legbar chicks that are growing out... Really liking the Wheaten Marans chicks so far, and actually liking the legbar chicks more than I thought I would

On that polish I have a super wishy washy guess---the crest looks like a male. The comb looks like a male, with that V shape up at top......but it is not as red as I would think it should be...so still no definite yes or no, but hoping it is a boy for you, I think it looks like it could be~! Maybe it is just maturing slower. The crest feathers look more narrow too so there sure are lots of signs. If you needed a girl it would be male for sure lol but because you need a boy the rules are different :lau so proceed with caution haha :D
