i'm afraid my eggs won't hatch, help me calm down a bit :D

No, leave it in bator! ;)
Tapping on top of bator might get a peep.

Don't worry - I did say it's best to leave them in unless you're really concerned. :) You get the odd quail that just needs a bit of cheerleading to get them going, especially if they are the last to hatch and they feel like everyone has abandoned them. They are generally extremely excited to hear a voice. But if your incubator has a motor there's no hope of hearing a little quail chick still in its shell inside the incubator. :fl for these littlies.

Yes, a loud motor can be quite annoying.
I have been known to tap top and cluckcluckcluck near vent hole.
I also leave a couple chicks in bator to cheer the remaining eggs.

heyyy, today i woke up before going to school and i saw a little quail in my incubator!!! :D it's now been around 7 hours since i saw him and he seems almost completely dry. How long should i wait before moving him to the brooder? also, i see he is still attached to the egg with a really small filament, should i detach it or should i let it be? also, there is a second egg that pipped it seems, i'm excited hahaha

Yeah! Congrats.
Going to be a tough day at school today! :D

Moving them to the brooder is best done with multiple chicks at a time, once they are up and running around really well. If you have more pips, I’d just wait till a few more hatch. I like to move them when there is a break in the action. I use a deep basket or box, quickly (but carefully!) pull each chick out and put in the basket. Then check each chick over before putting in the brooder.

it's been a tough day trying not to think about the little guy yeah :D alrighty, i'll wait for the others to hatch (hopefully :) ) but, in case they won't, when do i take the chick out? something like a day or so?

If it's dragging the shell around carefully snip it off.
yep he is running around with his little shell on the back , i dont wanna open the bator atm as there's another chick that pipped externally, but as soon as i can i will do that :) also, another question, he is making a mess with all the other eggs, like while he's running he is rolling some of them, will they be fine?
