No, leave it in bator!Sometimes they will peep if you talk right to the egg (hold it by your mouth)
Tapping on top of bator might get a peep.

You get the odd quail that just needs a bit of cheerleading to get them going, especially if they are the last to hatch and they feel like everyone has abandoned them. They are generally extremely excited to hear a voice. But if your incubator has a motor there's no hope of hearing a little quail chick still in its shell inside the incubator.
for these littlies.Yes, a loud motor can be quite annoying.Don't worry - I did say it's best to leave them in unless you're really concerned. You get the odd quail that just needs a bit of cheerleading to get them going, especially if they are the last to hatch and they feel like everyone has abandoned them. it's now been around 7 hours since i saw him and he seems almost completely dry. How long should i wait before moving him to the brooder? also, i see he is still attached to the egg with a really small filament, should i detach it or should i let it be? also, there is a second egg that pipped it seems, i'm excited hahahaheyyy, today i woke up before going to school and i saw a little quail in my incubator!!!it's now been around 7 hours since i saw him and he seems almost completely dry. it's been a tough day trying not to think about the little guy yeahYeah! Congrats.
Going to be a tough day at school today!
Moving them to the brooder is best done with multiple chicks at a time, once they are up and running around really well. If you have more pips, I’d just wait till a few more hatch. I like to move them when there is a break in the action. I use a deep basket or box, quickly (but carefully!) pull each chick out and put in the basket. Then check each chick over before putting in the brooder.
alrighty, i'll wait for the others to hatch (hopefully
) but, in case they won't, when do i take the chick out? something like a day or so?If it's dragging the shell around carefully snip it off.also, i see he is still attached to the egg with a really small filament, should i detach it or should i let it be?
yep he is running around with his little shell on the backIf it's dragging the shell around carefully snip it off.
, i dont wanna open the bator atm as there's another chick that pipped externally, but as soon as i can i will do that
also, another question, he is making a mess with all the other eggs, like while he's running he is rolling some of them, will they be fine?
