welp, kinda, my very first time was with a 10$ incubator off ebay with shipped chicken eggs, that plus the fact i was very unexperienced made only one chick hatch with crooked feet :( he was recovering though, the problem was that i put the brooder in a bad spot and after a week my dog managed to find it one day and scared that poor creature to death :( my second attempt was with my current bator, 0 out of 20 eggs hatched, the third was this one, i made sure everything was perfect, i'm hoping to see more little quail hatching in the next days, i am at the beginning of day 19 (counting from 0)

Do you remember what temp and humidity level you ran in your second hatch?
I forget...do you have calibrated thermometers and humidity gauge in the bator this time?

the second hatch's problem was exactly uncalibrated thermometer and hygrometer, i have made sure not to repeat the same error this time, but even then this incubator seems to have cold and hot zones, even if it has a fan... i'm pretty sure i'll sell it after this hatch so i can get a smaller but better one, i was looking at one that holds 8 chicken/duck eggs or 24 quail eggs and has digital automatic humidity control, so i wouldnt even have to open the bator to add water, i'd just refill the bottle the integrated humidifier has :D it's also made by a reliable professional company in my country instead of china, and seems to be what everyone is using around here, here are some pics of it:

it's just over 200€, what do you think?

How many are out now?

I only hatched quail twice, but those little boogers could fly to the top of my 14” deep brooder tote within 5-7 days! I was amazed!!
still 1 only unfortunately :( no signs of movement on the others, i'll wait till day 21 then do a float test, and if they don't pass it then i'll have to crack them open :(
