Im back with this unidentified thing..

I got my chickens at a small, local hatchery. I called them when I realized my bird wasn't a Cochin and asked which other feather footed breeds they had and croad langshan was one. They assured me that they don't let their breeds mix, except of course the chicks that hatch. And it's entirely possible that I was given a langshan instead of a Cochin.
Thank you for your photos.

Definitely not cochin! lol
I don't have langshans, and don't know the breed, but from pics, that does look like a possibility. I have a couple Marans, and see a little resemblance, any possibility of Marans from the hatchery?

They have Cuckoo Marans and Ive had some of them before.

Another week and some more photos!! It is between 19=21 weeks old now. No crowing and no egg yet. Doesn't act like a little cockerel at all. And I'm still not sure what it is. I'm going to update this thread until I get a crow or an egg! Any thoughts this week? Comb and wattles have reddened up and plumped up this past week!

How many roosters do you have? I tend to think that they crow less with less boys around. The more you have, the more they sound off! And teach each other at a younger age. I'm still on the pullet side though! :fl

Hopefully NONE!!! LOL, I'm 100% positive none of the others are cockerals.
