He came down and grabbed a very large rooster. He couldn't pick it up so they were laying on the ground with him holding the rooster so I grabbed his legs and used a large stick to pry his feet away from the roo then he went for a ride in a dog crate. He's very young so he didn't even try and go for me!

Since he was such a good boy once he learned to let go of the rooster, did you give him something to eat to help survive his relocation, I mean, ride? like a little hamburger or something?

Glad you and mr roo are ok

I know one thing. If someone I knew caught a hawk like that with their bare hands, everyone I know would consider them to be a bad dude! I was going to ask if you drank a Redbull first, and if it really gives you wings? That is so cool, and awesome pics. What kind of bird is it exactly?

I'm impressed. We had a downed one on our school grounds once (broken wing) and I saw him open his beak up close and personal. My goodness, those things have jaws! I knew you were a tough bird, but this is over and above!

He sure is handsome! Good for you for catching him and relocating him!

Do you know what kind...?

Now I just need the other two! This was the smallest one and obviously not the brightest. He had some lunch meat at school during the day, he wasn't really impressed but snacked on it.
The rooster he tried to grab? Tanker! Nugget's eldest son!
