Hi everyone, I just want to check my duckling is okay! He seems to eat and drink fine (his breathing has been a little stuffy when he’s eating) but he almost looks like his chest isn’t right?? I’m going to book him a vet appointment but just wanted to see what everyone thought before I did:(

Welcome to BYC.

Based off when you posted the thread, I assume you took this picture in the evening? Birds crop will be full in the evening and should be empty by morning. If her crop isn't empty by morning she should see a vet.

This is here this morning as soon as I’ve woke up! I’m not sure if he’s been eating in the night? It’s it worth separating him from my other chick at night so he doesn’t have access to food? Just to see?

Her crop looks normal to me. How is she acting? Have you seen her eating bedding? Is she producing poops, frequently?
I did notice she was eating her bedding! But I’ve now changed them over to a new bedding and they seem to have stopped! She does poop regularly but sometimes they’re just a milky liquid or clear with no solids but it varies from that to normal! I have booked a vet appointment for Tuesday just to get checked over! I’d rather be over cautious😂

Let us know how it goes!
