Indian Runner to weak to stand

Yes she can swim. It may help if it is caused from strain or muscles. I would just make sure she is able to get in and out easily. Wouldn't want her to tire herself and be stuck unable to make it out.
I either sit outside and watch her while she is swimming or I set a timer for every 10 minutes to check on her. She can't get out on her own but she shows me she wants out so I lift her out. She seems to be doing much better but still not walking. She's been eating well.

Just wondering how she is doing?

I've been busy and didn't look at my messages. She is trying to stand up and take steps but can't walk far without sitting down. Today she was preening and taking a bath in the pond like crazy more than she has in a long time. I think she is starting to feel better but I still see her breathing is not 100% right compared to the other ducks. It might just take more time but she is getting a lot stronger. I have been keeping up on the vitamins and she's been eating well. Thank you so much for caring and taking your time, I really appreciate it. I do see a lot of improvement which is comforting.

That's great to hear...Wishing her a full and steady recovery. As for her breathing do you have any Basil or Thyme? Both are good for mucous membranes and respiratory tract health and thyme helps aid in respiratory health recovery. It may help if she had gotten some irritation to her nares.

Yes, I grow herbs, including basil and thyme. I gave her oregano, basil and thyme a few days ago but she is very picky and not sure if she ate any of it. I keep trying everything I know to do.

I know what you mean about picky and hoglets. The rest of my gang seem to just follow along if one eats it then the rest follow. I couldn't get her to eat the garlic or pumpkin but the others finished it up. I have a mix of ducks but 5 are runners and none are as picky as her.

Yes I have a mix also...4 runners, a mallard, a Pekin and 4 week olds in brooder of Cayuga and a lil golden red one I'm not sure what is gonna turn out to be :)
