Indian Runner to weak to stand

Thank you so much for all your help. So adding yeast to the food will not overdose her because I am giving the vitamins too? Btw I didn't give flush free niacin. All my ducks get peas every morning and I thought peas had a good amount of niacin. Can a calcium deficiency cause weak legs like this?
It's usually niacin or vitamin E. Too much calcium causes liver trouble in ducks. If she is laying good eggs her calcium should be fine. I've never heard of calcium deficiency causing this. And the niacin ducks should have is 100 to 150 mg a day... feed doesn't usually have much but once they forage they get what they need normally. So after they're grown it's not usually an issue but is for ducklings as they can't forage yet. It does happen in adult ducks just not alot unless they've been unable to get needed vegetation or bugs that are high in niacin. Which if your girl has trouble seeing she just may not be finding all she needs.

I think you are right. She stays in the pond most of the day and does come out to eat but doesn't forage like the other do.

I totally understand that and am very sorry for your loss. Our furry and feathered family members mean alot to us. Keep me posted on her and best of luck to you. Glad to offer any help I can.

One last thing I didn't think of until now...You had another duck go lame awhile back? Just to be sure she doesn't have worms I would give them all some pumpkin seeds and add a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar and a clove of garlic to a bit of their water. I don't use wormers I do it naturally but if you prefer you can purchase something for that. Lameness in ducks can be from worms.
