Nothing other than antibiotic cream, and aspirin for pain when I dealt with the elbow. We live in a state in which you can’t buy antibiotics commercially.

Softening the scab and trying to lift it off could give you a better idea of what you’re dealing with. Watch her stress levels and go with how the situation feels to you. Listening to my intuition when dealing with injured chickens has led me down some strange paths but it has always worked out.

The limp could be from not using that wing for balance. Check her feet and look for a bumble just in case but I think best you can do is keep an eye on it.

Wonder if putting something over her body would help keep the wound clean. And not rub whatever is put on the wound all over the place.

Well she’s been through a lot. Maybe something got pulled a little bit during her treatment yesterday. She didn’t limp before so perhaps that’s it. Do you think putting her by herself would be okay? Do you have a area that she could rest and you could monitor food and water intake? Just a suggestion but I would look at putting some baby electrolytes in her water. It sucks you can’t get the oral antibiotics. Garlic is a natural additive that helps purify the blood.

Yes and OP has been told not to bandage the wound. I’m thinking anything put on it will then be rubbed off if it’s not covered. So covering the body would leave the wound uncovered but hopefully cleaner.
