Any way the Roo is almost perfect. He need depth and width on his chest. White feathers on the tail are a fault.

Yeah Im not crazy about the white in my cuckoo cockerel's tail. It was recommended by Bev Davis to improve their egg color by using Black Marans with dark egg color. Or I may try to experiment with them to create golden cuckoos, I havent decided yet. Im just using the pullets as layers for now.

I only meant they were more the french type because they had feathered legs, where the English type is clean legged.
