Is it a Blocked Intestine or Egg Binding?

What color/kind of solids should I look for? I was too far to see anything but the color and consistence when I happened, but if/when it happens again, I'll make it a point to go look.
Okay - she had another yellow ‘poop’ just now. No solids that I could see. Unless i’m Looking for something pretty small? Could it just be yellow from the vitamins/electrolytes i’m giving her? With the amount that came out, she’s clearly been drinking a lot of the fluids I have out for her (which all have something in them).

Okay... so new symptoms are now making me think she’s egg bound... she’s panting, on and off, and her ‘butt’ is kind of pulsating. Like something's trying to be pushed out, maybe?? Would being egg bound cause issues with her walking/balance, too? Or is this a whole new realm, unbeknownst to me?

Have you given calcium yet? If not, you need to do that. It's a very important part of treating an egg bound hen. Then rig up a heating pad on the lowest setting and cover it with a damp bath towel. Warm, moist heat is another important part of treating for egg binding. Finally, moisten her vent with coconut oil or water soluble gel and also just inside the vent a bit, too.

Place her infirmary crate in a dimly lighted quiet place and leave her to rest.

Okay... so still going through things. Open for suggestions to help. Here’s the status:

Still very lethargic (probably more so). Can’t walk on her own - uses her wings to help support her. Off and on interest in food, but only fresh fruits/veggies she already knows - NO interest in her crumble. She does seem to really enjoy the Epsom salt baths (can you give too many??). She’s very apparently weaker. Still drinking, but not as much. And if I try to force anything on her, she fights it like she has all the strength in the world (any suggestions there would be nice). I’m giving her vitamins and calcium in her water (can you give too much of either?). I also try to sneak some crushed calcium pills in her food when she does eat (a nice powder coat). She still wags her tail and squeaks at me, sometime low little quacks - man I wish I could speak duck! She’s definitely lost weight, but she’s still pooping. Usually watery/yellow, but if she has been eating, I do see the food remnants coming through, and it’s not yellow. Oh, and she’s putting out some heat from her undercarriage. Not sure if that is a symptom, or just because she’s always laying down. If I try to put her in a heating pad, she immediately moves off of it.

Is there anything else I can do??? Am I even treating her right for what she may have (is the title of this string way off?)?

Is her abdomen swollen? Can you feel any hard egg-like lump? Do you have the heating pad on the lowest setting? How about a damp towel covering the heating pad? Have you put some lubricant inside the vent?

Try not to exceed 400mg of calcium per day.

If it's any consolation, I have an egg-bound hen in a crate on a heating pad right now. She's been assuming a penguin stance for the past two days and pumping her tail. I can feel the egg, but it isn't near the vent yet.

She’s lost a lot of weight, but I think I feel something roundish in there. I don’t want to press too hard, for fear of breaking it. Like yours, what I feel is not yet near the vent. Heating pad at lowest setting - she’s just running that hot on her own that I think it makes her too hot. Even with the dap towel. She never liked the heat lamp when she was a duckling, either. And i’ve tried lunricating the vent - not sure if i’m getting in far enough, though. I’ve never had to do this before, and i’m scared of hurting her or breaking the egg. And she does NOT like me touching that area, either!

Have you noticed her vent pulsing like she is trying to lay?

Not today. On Saturday, she was panting a bit, and her whole tail appeared to be pulsating, especially when she was in the salt bath, but nothing today, or yesterday, as I recall. :(

There was a lot of fluffing of the tail in her bath this morning, though. I assumed it was enjoyment, but maybe I misinterpreted it?

Also, not sure if it’s related, or just random. She seems have developed a twitch, where she shakes her head side to side (like ‘no’), almost like she’s trying to get something off her beak. It might be just that, but at this point, i’m throwing everything out there. It’s not like it’s constant, but every so often - if I watch for a few minutes, it’ll happen a few times. But it’s also not every time I look in on her.

I feel like i’m just sounding desperate now. :(
