Hi all! I'm working on a video project (that will be on YouTube. :) ) about Naked Necks and the genetics behind them, but I need some pictures! Both of my birds are heterozygous and both have bibs and I really need some pictures of homozygous naked necks, meaning they do not have a bib. :) Thank you so much in advance!

I prefer pictures without clutter in the background if possible. :)
Doesn't matter what stage of life they are in - chicks, pullets/cockerels, hens/roosters is all fine!

Visual Credit will be given! It's ok if they are watermarked as well and I'll still put my statement below at the bottom of the picture. :)

I will be putting a text at the bottom stating
This picture was used with permission from <Insert your name here>
I can give your BYC username, your name, or your farm name (if you have one) credit! Just please let me know what name you'd like me to give credit to!
Thank you so much in advance!

Added a few life stages. The white has a non but the others don't

Hi! I have some photos you may want, if only to show how strong the NN gene is. I believe Annabelle is a homozygous Naked Neck hen because she has just a few feathers in her necklace. Here she is posing for the International Day of the Woman, beautiful even though she is molting 😄

Annabelle did a great job being a broody, even though she is a rescue from 2015, so she is more than 5 years old and blind in one eye as you can see.

Annabelle has offspring who are crossed with Easter Egger to add the blue egg gene and Australorp to maintain egg production. So they are heterozygous with a bow tie or a bib. Here are some of them:
Gloria in back (brown eggs) and Gracie in front (green eggs)

and three who take after the Australorp side of the family (two with the blue egg gene).

And last, Little Miss Polka Dot, who laid blue eggs, loved to sit on the porch and who enjoyed car rides 😄

With any luck I’ll get some more better photos later 😉
