@MochaLatte you have Marans right? have any of those started to lay yet? I am thinking of maybe getting one if they have them at my feed store. LOL I am struggling so bad deciding what I want.
Also what size is your coop/run and how many chickens? I have an 8x8 coop and a 26x8 run. So according to the 4 sq ft I can only have 16 in my coop and then the 10 sq ft I can have 20 in my run...... I can't expand my coop right now but I am so tempted to keep 10 chicks/chickens that I order/hatch this year but that will only give them 3.55 sq ft and I don't want them crowded... hmm what to do. LOL It would be so much easier if the order form was out and I saw what was on it and then could pick. I am going to guess there won't be any cream legbars which is sad since I would really love one. LOL Thinking about maybe an olive egger too. want to expand my egg colors. LOL right now I have a really light tan, a light tannish pink, and a really pale pale blueish/green. and think the brahmas will be light tan as well. So a green egg, darker brown, and a blue would be nice. haahaa.
