Day 507 (1 year and 4.5 months, or about 72 weeks)
I haven't been able to update in a while, but I have some new pictures of Ivory and his girls to add!
It's summertime here and what does that mean for Ivory and his girls?...foraging for bugs and other tasty morsels, sunbathing, foraging, plenty of fresh green grass, warm weather, foraging, dirt bathing, and did I mention foraging? Yep, and a lot of it! Ivory and the girls have been enjoying the nice summer weather outside by foraging around the whole yard, creating holes in the ground around the yard, (particularly under the porch and any other shady areas) for dirt baths, and whatever other chicken shenanigans they can get into...But amidst all the summertime excitement, there's some possible little surprises just waiting to break free from their shells and hatch into the world...that's right, baby chicks!!!
Two of the hens, Hope and May, have gone broody and are sitting on some eggs. Which means Ivory might be a father sometime soon!
That's what we're hoping for anyways!
In other news, here are some new pictures! Enjoy!
